"All I ever wanted to do was capture a touch of the ephemeral…"

                                         ~Berthe Morisot

As an art history major, I learned about a total of two women artists (Mary Cassatt and Georgia O'Keeffe) over the course of all of western civilization. That experience motivated me to develop and teach courses about women artists for nearly 20 years.

Fascinated by the stories I came across, I started to write about women artists. La Luministe, my historical novel about Impressionist painter Berthe Morisot-her radical art and her lifelong love for Edouard Manet-will be published by Regal House in 2018.
